Toews scored twice and picked up a fighting major in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Senators.
The goals were sweet, but we all held our breath during the fight. Toews came out on the losing end in the tilt with Zach Sanford and took a couple hard fists to the head. He missed the month of February due to a concussion and has only been back six games. Sunday morning may tell the tale based on those hits to the head. That aside, Toews has points in each of his last three games (three goals, one assist). It's a modest streak but a streak nonetheless. And that's significant for a once-great forward who has scuffled mightily since missing a full season to illness.
