Entwistle was reassigned to AHL Rockford on Sunday, per CBS Sports.
Entwistle spent most of the season on the taxi squad prior to Sunday's demotion, but he didn't draw into an NHL game. The 21-year-old would likely benefit from playing time in the minors.
