Saad recorded an assist, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche.

Saad's first game for the Blues came against his former team, and he set up the first of David Perron's two goals in the contest. The 28-year-old Saad struggled a bit with the Avalanche last year, posting 24 points in 44 games despite a career-best 22.1 shooting percentage. He's set to fill a top-six role in St. Louis, and that gives him a good chance to get back over the 40-point mark in a scoring-only role.
