Vrana was called up from AHL Springfield on Thursday.
Vrana was waived Dec. 12 and reassigned to Springfield after scoring just two goals and six points in 19 contests with St. Louis. He excelled in Springfield, though, providing four goals and eight points in seven games. Perhaps his time in the AHL has helped the 27-year-old as he now looks to build off that success in St. Louis.
