Vladar has been called up from AHL Providence and is dressing as the backup Tuesday against the Capitals, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
Vladar will suit up and back up Jeremy Swayman for the contest. In five appearances this season, Vladar has been lackluster to the tune of a 3.40 GAA and .886 save percentage.
