Canadiens' Brendan Gallagher: Dealing with lower-body injury

Gallagher exited Thursday's 4-0 loss to the Hurricanes with a lower-body injury, Eric Engels of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Head coach Dominique Ducharme was hopeful that Gallagher's injury will just be a day-to-day situation. The 29-year-old has now gone without a point in his last five contests, but he's one of few veteran players that faced the Hurricanes for a decimated Canadiens team.
