Gallagher (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, per CapFriendly.
Assuming this assignment is retroactive, he'll be eligible to return whenever he's healthy. Gallagher was initially hurt Dec. 30 versus the Hurricanes. It's unclear when he'll be able to get back in the lineup.
