Toffoli secured a four-year, $17 million contract with Montreal on Monday.
Toffoli racked up 24 goals and 20 helpers in 68 appearances for the Kings and Canucks last season. It was the fourth time in his last six years that Toffoli garnered 40-plus points. The 27-year-old winger may have to compete alongside Josh Anderson for a spot on the second line.
