Bahl has been promoted from AHL Binghamton to the Devils' taxi squad.
The Devils still have five defenseman on the NHL's COVID-19 protocols list, so Bahl will join the taxi squad to be on hand whenever the team is cleared to resume practices. The 2018 second-round pick has yet to make his NHL debut.
