MacDermid (lower body) is not in Friday's lineup against Buffalo, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.
MacDermid will miss a third consecutive game. The team hasn't provided much information on his injury, but he'll get some extra time to heal up before Tuesday's contest against the Penguins. He has one assist in 10 games since being traded to New Jersey from Colorado.
