MacDermid (lower body) is not expected to play Tuesday against Pittsburgh, according to Sam Kasan of the Devils' official site.
Despite being close to returning to the lineup, MacDermid will miss his fourth consecutive contest. He has picked up two goals, one assist, 53 PIM and 67 hits in 39 games this season between New Jersey and Colorado.
