Ducks' Jakob Silfverberg: Heads into break on heater

Silfverberg handed out two assists for the second consecutive game Tuesday in a 6-2 win over Boston.

After an absolutely horrendous start to the year, something clicked with the uber-talented Silfverberg back on Jan. 8 against the Blues, when he started his recent hot streak with another two-assist effort. Over his last eight contests, Silfverberg has racked up three goals, seven assists and a plus-6 rating -- that's quite the sharp contrast to the six points and minus-10 he posted through the season's first 39 games.
