Jones stopped 33 of 35 shots in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Senators.
The veteran goalie played well, keeping the game knotted at 1-1 until a Josh Norris power-play tally midway through the third period, but Jones didn't get much support from his teammates. He has only one win since the calendar flipped to 2022, going 1-8-2 over his last 11 starts, but Jones' 3.55 GAA and .891 save percentage over that stretch don't warrant a much better record.
