Martinez (face) was on the ice for Monday's practice session, indicating he's cleared COVID-19 protocols, but won't play against Buffalo on Tuesday, David Schoen of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Martinez practicing with the team could be a sign he'll be ready to play coming out of the All-Star break, though coach Pete DeBoer didn't provide any specific update on the blueliner's recovery timeline. Whenever he does play, it will be the first game action for the Michigan native since Nov. 11 versus Minnesota.
