Golden Knights' Jonathan Marchessault: Enters virus protocols

Marchessault was placed on the NHL's COVID-19 protocols list Tuesday.

Marchessault will need to submit two negative COVID-19 tests before rejoining the Golden Knights, so at this point there's no telling when he might be cleared to return, but he'll miss Tuesday's game versus Carolina at a minimum. Evgeni Dadonov may get the first crack at replacing Marchessault on Vegas' top line against the Hurricanes.
