Prince (lower body) remains day-to-day, but may not be ready for Opening Night, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.

Prince, who signed with the Islanders during the offseason, figured to be on New York's third line prior to the injury. If the winger remains sidelined for any length of time, he could see that role diminished if teammates Jason Chimera or Eric Boulton can capitalize on their opportunities. Given his limited production, the 23-year-old offers low-end value and should probably only be considered for a roster spot in the deepest of leagues.
