Samberg (illness) will miss Thursday's game against Toronto, per the NHL media site.
Samberg was also unavailable for Tuesday's 4-1 loss to Montreal because of the illness. He has two goals and eight points in 35 contests this season. Ville Heinola will stay in the lineup for a second straight game.
