Lipon (upper body) agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way deal with the Jets on Monday.
Lipon missed the last 12 games of the regular season battling an upper body injury, but is expected to be healthy and ready to go for the start of the 2016-17 campaign. The 23-year-old made just nine appearances for Winnipeg last year and managed just one helper and five PIM in those outings. Fantasy owners can likely expect the winger to spend the bulk of the season refining his game in the AHL, but will certainly be a call-up option when injuries occur.
