Per Helene Elliott of the Los Angeles Times, Bjornfot was sent to AHL Ontario for a conditioning loan Thursday.
Bjornfot has been a healthy scratch in each of the last 13 games after being in the lineup for the Kings on Opening Night. He could return to a depth role with the Kings in a couple of weeks.
