Shesterkin (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Arthur Staple of The Athletic reports.
The Rangers have yet to release an expected timetable for Shesterkin's return, but now that he's on injured reserve, he'll have to miss the Rangers' next three games at a minimum. Alexandar Georgiev and Adam Huska will carry the load in goal for New York until Shesterkin is ready to rock.
