Kakko was promoted from the taxi squad for Monday's game against the Sabres, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reports.
As expected, Kakko will suit up for his 10th consecutive game. The 20-year-old winger has just one assist and 16 shots on goal since the start of March.
