Namestnikov supplied a goal and an assist with two PIM in Tuesday's 4-1 win over Columbus.

Both of Namestnikov's points came with the Columbus net empty late in the game. He gave the Red Wings a 3-1 lead with an empty-net goal with 1:14 remaining, then drew a helper on Adam Erne's open-net tally 64 seconds later. The 28-year-old Namestnikov has two goals and an assist in three games so far after putting up 17 points in 53 tilts during his first season in Detroit.
