Sharks' Erik Karlsson: Out with injury Saturday

Karlsson is dealing with an upper-body injury and won't play Saturday against the Lightning, Curtis Pashelka of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

The injury is reportedly different than the upper-body issue that kept Karlsson out for a pair of games earlier this month (Jan. 6 and 8 against Buffalo and Philadelphia). Nonetheless, the 31-year-old will be forced to miss at least one game after producing four points in his last three. Karlsson's first chance to return will come Wednesday in Washington.
