Niemi stopped all 22 shots he faced Saturday night, leading to his second shutout of the season.
The workload was light for Niemi as he and the Stars handed the Sabres their first shutout of the 2015-16 campaign. Niemi is splitting time in net evenly with Kari Lehtonen and that doesn't figure to change anytime soon considering it's been a winning recipe and the Stars are dominating as current leaders of the Western Conference.
