Wild's Cam Talbot: Suffers lower-body injury

Talbot suffered a lower-body injury Saturday versus the Blues, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports. He allowed six goals on 28 shots in two periods before he was replaced by Kaapo Kahkonen.

It was fair to assume Talbot's exit from the contest was due to performance, but Russo's report suggests otherwise. The severity of Talbot's injury is unknown at this time. Fantasy managers will likely want to turn to Kahkonen as a replacement -- he made four saves without allowing a goal in relief of Talbot, and he would likely take on a starter's workload if Talbot had to miss time. More information should be available prior to the Wild's next scheduled game Thursday in Boston.
