Talbot aggravated his lower-body injury during Monday's win over Montreal, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Head coach Dean Evason said that Talbot could've stayed in the game, but he elected to play Kaapo Kahkonen in the third period as a precaution. Talbot will have plenty of time to get healthy before Minnesota's game against the Rangers on Friday. He allowed one goal on 15 shots Monday, improving to 16-8-1 on the year.
