Brodin (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Friday.
Brodin has been sidelined since Jan. 7 with his upper-body issue, so this is essentially a paper move, as he'll be eligible to return as soon as he's deemed fit to play. Jordie Benn will likely hold onto a spot in the lineup until Brodin is ready to return.
