CBSSports.com Fantasy Football Expert Dave Richard Selects Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers as His "Start of the Week"
CBS Sports' Shannon Sharpe and Don Criqui make bold - and correct - calls
FANTASY FOOTBALL TODAY, a completely live, studio produced show on CBSSports.com each Sunday (11 AM - 12:30 PM ET), made some bold predictions during the Week #2 show (September 14) that undoubtedly helped many fantasy football players win their matchup.
Here are some highlights of the Sept.14 edition of FANTASY FOOTBALL TODAY on CBSSports.com:
CBSSports.com Fantasy Football Senior Writer Dave Richard
Advised fantasy players to start all options in the Philadelphia at Dallas Monday Night game. Richard even went so far as to predict that Dallas would run back a kickoff for a touchdown. The result was a 41-37 shootout win for the Cowboys, producing multiple fantasy heroes including Dallas rookie RB Felix Jones who returned a Philadelphia kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown.
Upon informing fantasy players that Indianapolis Colts TE Dallas Clark was inactive for the game against Minnesota, Richard noted that Indy WR Anthony Gonzalez was now a solid option and also cautioned Joseph Addai owners that the Colts RB would struggle against the Vikings defense. Gonzalez ended the day with 9 catches for 137 yards and Addai rushed 15 times for 20 yards.
Reporting from the Tennessee at Cincinnati broadcast booth, Criqui predicted a big game for Titans RB Chris Johnson against the Bengals defense. The rookie proved Criqui correct as he rushed for 109 yards on the day.
