  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Drives in five

Renfroe went 4-for-5 with two homers, five RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 10-2 victory over the Reds. Renfroe's first hit was a single to lead off the second inning. He then crushed two-run home runs in each of his next two at-bats in the fourth and fifth innings, driving in Rowdy Tellez both times. The right fielder's fifth RBI of the game came on a seventh-inning single that drove home Willy Adames. It was quite the night for Renfroe, who came into the game with just two hits in his last 21 at-bats. It was also just his second four-hit game of the season.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Sits down Tuesday

Renfroe isn't starting Tuesday against the Mets. Renfroe's production has taken quite the hit lately -- he's slashing .197/.240/.338 since the start of September. To give him a break, Andrew McCutchen will play in right field for Renfroe and Keston Hiura will serve as the Brewers' designated hitter, batting seventh.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Provides team's only run

Renfroe went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Diamondbacks. Renfroe was essentially the entirety of the Milwaukee offense in the series finale in Arizona, as he finished with two of the team's three hits on the night and accounted for the Brewers' only run in the top of the ninth after Diamondbacks ace Zac Gallen exited the game. The home run ended a nine-game drought for Renfroe and was his 24th of the season, leaving him four behind Rowdy Tellez for the team lead. Renfroe will be back in the lineup for Monday's series opener in Colorado, occupying the designated hitter spot and batting cleanup.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Another multi-hit effort

Renfroe went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Monday's victory over the Pirates. The multi-hit effort was Renfroe's fifth over his last 10 games, a stretch that raised his batting average from .239 to .254. He has been one of the top producers in the league in the second half, putting up 10 home runs and 29 RBI -- to go along with a .917 OPS -- over 33 games since the All-Star break.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Sleeper hitters for Week 22 (Aug. 29-Sept. 4)

I had to cheat a little to get Renfroe in here since his roster rate is right at the 80 percent cutoff, but the Brewers matchups are so good, featuring three games against the Pirates and four at the Diamondbacks, that he should be started in leagues of all sizes, really. The recent home run binge only seals the deal.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Drives in three in loss

Renfroe went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and three total RBI in a loss to the Dodgers on Wednesday. Renfroe knocked in the Brewers' second run of the game with a double in the third inning, and he swatted a two-run homer off infielder-turned-relief-pitcher Hanser Alberto in the ninth. The homer was Renfroe's third in his past six games, and he's also had three multi-hit performances in that stretch, though he's gone 0-for-11 in the other three contests. Overall, the veteran slugger is slashing .246/.309/.508 with 23 homers, 53 RBI and a stolen base across 364 plate appearances on the season.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Receives Tuesday off

Renfroe is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers. Renfroe is 0-for-11 since hitting homers in back-to-back contests Thursday and Friday, and his absence from Tuesday's lineup will end a string of 32 consecutive starts. Andrew McCutchen will shift to right field while Keston Hiura serves as the designated hitter.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Hits ninth post-break homer

Renfroe went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's loss to the Cubs. The homer, which hit the scoreboard in left field at Wrigley Field, was Renfroe's second in as many days and ninth since the All-Star break came to a close. He owns a stellar .935 OPS over that stretch, and thanks to his hot hitting has been in the lineup for all 25 games the Brewers have played in the second half.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Launches two-run homer

Renfroe went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-3 loss to St. Louis. Renfroe kicked off the scoring in Sunday's contest with a two-run shot that scored Andrew McCutchen. It was Renfroe's first home run this month after hitting six in July. The outfielder now has 20 on the season. It has been a rough month for Renfroe who has an August batting average of .189 after going 7-for-37 with 10 strikeouts. His season batting average now sits at .246.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Reaches base three times

Renfroe went 1-for-2 with two walks during Wednesday's win over the Rays. After racking up six home runs in nine games during late July, Renfroe has gone ice cold at the plate, slashing .154/.333/.192 thus far in August. Wednesday's performance was somewhat a return to form, but it is definitely safe to say Renfroe's hot streak has come to an end.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Possible waiver wire pickups

It feels like adding Renfroe should be a no-brainer at this point, regardless of the scoring format. He was the 19th-best outfielder in Rotisserie leagues last year and the 21st-best in Head-to-Head points. He's also on the sort of heater that would merit a longer look even without that history. He went 4 for 4 with a homer run Sunday, giving him six home runs in his past nine games. He's up to a .254 batting average and .828 OPS for the year as compared to .259 and .816 last year.

Renfroe went 4-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 7-2 loss to Boston. Renfroe put Milwaukee on the board with his two-run shot off of Josh Winckowski and it proved to be the team's only offense of the afternoon. The 30-year-old outfielder has gone deep six times over his last nine games, going 12-for-38 (.316) with 14 RBI during that span. He improved his season slash line to .254/.305/.523 with 19 homers and 35 runs scored through 68 games.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Blasts 18th homer

Renfroe went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Red Sox. Renfroe's two-out home run in the fifth inning provided some much-needed cushion for Milwaukee, which held a 2-1 lead before he left the yard for the 18th time this season. He'll be in the lineup for Sunday's series finale, starting in right field and batting sixth.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Leaves yard again

Renfroe went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in the Brewers' 7-6 win over the Twins on Tuesday. Renfroe saw his three-game home-run streak come to an end in Monday's 2-0 loss to the Rockies, but it didn't take the 30-year-old to start up a new streak. He's now up to 17 home runs on the season, trailing Willy Adames (20) and Rowdy Tellez (18) for the team lead. Renfroe will be back in action for Wednesday's series finale, batting fifth while manning right field.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Homers in third straight

Renfroe went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's victory over the Rockies. Renfroe has come out of the All-Star break on a tear, recording three straight multi-hit games and homering in each one. He now owns an .827 OPS on the season, which would be the best full-season mark of his career.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Possible waiver wire pickups

Following a so-so start to the season, Renfroe has been on fire since returning from an ankle injury a little before the All-Star break, homering in three straight and hitting safely in seven straight. It has his batting average and OPS (.257 and .827, respectively) back to right about where they were last year (.259, .816), when he was the 19th-best outfielder in 5x5 leagues and the 21st-best in points. He won't finish that high this year, factoring in the time he missed, but with quality outfielders being in short supply, I'm certain there's someone who could use him in just about every league where he's available.

  • Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Sleeper hitters for Week 17 (July 25-31)

Recently back from a calf injury, Renfroe is looking to mash, having homered in three straight games, and has some mashable opponents in Kyle Freeland, Chris Archer, Dylan Bundy and Brayan Bello.

Renfroe went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Rockies. The blast was his second in as many games since the start of the second half, and he's gone 4-for-9 with five RBI over that brief stretch. Renfroe's power tends to come in bunches -- this is his third consecutive-game homer streak this season.

The 30-year-old right fielder now has a five-game hitting streak stretching back to before the All-Star break.
