Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Out with strained hamstring
Renfroe was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a strained right hamstring, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
The 30-year-old exited Monday's contest with right hamstring discomfort and will now head to the injured list after undergoing an MRI. According to Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin, Renfroe is dealing with a low-grade strain and is expected to be sidelined 10-to-14 days. Tyrone Taylor is likely to take over as Milwaukee's primary right fielder in the meantime.

Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Getting MRI
Renfroe (hamstring) said after Monday's 3-2 loss to the Padres in 10 innings that he will undergo an MRI on Tuesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Renfroe went 0-for-1 with a run scored Monday before departing after experiencing right hamstring discomfort. The 30-year-old said he doesn't have a feel for whether the injury is a day-to-day concern or something more serious, but the MRI should offer more clarity on that front. At the very least, Renfroe can probably be ruled out from starting in Tuesday's game, which will likely open up a spot in the outfield for Tyrone Taylor.

Brewers' Hunter Renfroe: Inks deal with Brewers for 2022
Renfroe agreed to a one-year, $7.65 million contract with the Brewers on Tuesday to avoid arbitration, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Renfroe was acquired by Milwaukee from Boston in the closing hours before the lockout, and he's now officially under contract for this season. The 29-year-old has his final year of arbitration eligibility coming up in 2023. Renfroe slashed .259/.315/.501 with 31 home runs, 33 doubles, 89 runs and 96 RBI in 144 games last season, and he should be the Brewers' primary starter in right field.
