Judge went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run and two runs scored in Saturday's win over the Padres. Judge wasted no time in getting the Yankees on the board Saturday, launching a two-run homer off Dylan Cease in the opening frame. The star outfielder would also double to lead off the fourth before coming around to score for a second time, marking the third time in his last four games that he's scored two runs. Judge has also homered in four straight games now and is up to 17 long balls on the campaign, which ties him with Kyle Tucker and Gunnar Henderson for the league lead.... See More ... See Less

Yankees' Aaron Judge: Homer streak at three games
Judge went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 8-0 win over the Padres. Judge is dialed in at the plate with a homer in three straight games and 10 long balls over his last 18 contests. In that longer span, he's gone 25-for-60 (.417) with 18 RBI and 10 doubles. On the year, Judge has 16 homers, 37 RBI, 35 runs scored, two stolen bases, 17 doubles and a .275/.411/.619 slash line over 53 contests. He's enjoyed good health and a productive lineup around him in 2024, and while a repeat of his 62-homer campaign from 2022 remains unlikely, he's still among the best sluggers in the majors.... Yankees' Aaron Judge: Homers again Thursday
Judge went 2-for-2 with a solo homer, a double, two walks and a second run scored in Thursday's 5-0 win over the Mariners. Judge extended the Yankees' lead to 2-0 with a 414-foot shot off Luis Castillo in the third inning, his 15th long ball this year, tied for third-most in the majors and his second in as many days. Judge has been on a tear in May, going 27-for-63 (.429) with nine homers and 17 RBI in his last 19 games. After a slow start to the campaign, he's boosted his season slash line to .276/.416/.611 with 35 RBI, 34 runs scored and a pair of stolen bases.... See More ... See Less -
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Opens scoring Wednesday
Judge went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Mariners. Judge saw an eight-game hitting streak snapped Tuesday, but he's reached base in 10 straight contests. During the on-base streak, he's gone 15-for-34 (.441) with five homers, nine RBI, 12 runs scored, six doubles and an 11:9 BB:K. The slugger has been strong at the plate all year, slashing .268/.405/.585 with 14 long balls, 34 RBI, 32 runs scored, 16 doubles and two stolen bases over 51 contests. Judge's 24.7 percent strikeout rate is the lowest mark of his career, which should allow him to continue to succeed as long as he keeps it in check.... See More ... See Less -
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Continues power surge Sunday
Judge went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-2 win against the White Sox. Judge capped the scoring in the contest with one of the shortest homers of his career -- a 339-foot poke to the short porch in right field. Regardless of the distance, it was another addition to his recent collection of his homers, as he's now gone deep seven times over his past 13 games. The impressive run has elevated Judge into a tie for third place in the majors with 13 home runs on the campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Homers, draws three walks Friday
Judge went 1-for-1 with a solo home run, an additional run and three walks in Friday's 4-2 win against the White Sox. Judge belted a 433-solo shot to left field in the first inning to plate the first run of the game. Chicago pitchers didn't bother with him thereafter, walking the slugger in each of his remaining three plate appearances, with one of the free passes being intentional. After a subpar start to the season, Judge has turned things around of late, slashing .475/.604/1.150 with six homers, nine doubles, 12 RBI, 14 runs and a 12:7 BB:K over his past 12 contests.... Yankees' Aaron Judge: Monster day at plate
Judge went 4-for-4 with a solo home run, three doubles, a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in Wednesday's 4-0 win over the Twins. Judge opened the scoring with his first-inning solo shot and added an RBI double in the seventh. The outfielder has locked in with power over his last 10 games, going 16-for-36 (.444) with five homers, seven doubles, 11 RBI and 11 runs scored in that span. He was batting .207 at the end of April, but he's up to a .255/.386/.540 slash line with 11 homers, 29 RBI, 24 runs scored two stolen bases and 13 doubles over 44 contests. Judge has clearly bounced back after the slow start, and getting him in a groove makes the Yankees' already-strong offense even more dangerous.... See More ... See Less -
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Belts 10th home run
Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and a walk in Sunday's win over Tampa Bay. Judge ripped a two-run shot in the fifth inning for his 10th long ball of the year. Through his first 24 games this season, he registered a .663 OPS with three home runs and 31 punchouts. Over his last 18 appearances, Judge is back to his usual self with a 1.146 OPS, seven homers and a 14:16 BB:K. The recent hot streak has brought his slash line to .235/.369/.497 through 187 plate appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Slugs another homer
Judge went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to Houston on Thursday. Judge's eighth-inning solo shot was a massive one, as it traveled an estimated 473 feet. The slugger has turned on his power of late, swatting three homers and driving in six runs over his past four contests. He's now tied with Juan Soto for the team lead with nine home runs and ranks second with 25 RBI on the campaign.... See More ... See Less -
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Continues productive stretch
Judge went 3-for-5 with a home run, two doubles and three total RBI against Houston in a 9-4 win Wednesday. Judge tagged Houston pitching for three extra-base hits, the first time he's accomplished that feat in a game this season. The slugger swatted a solo shot in the third inning and knocked in two more runs with a double in the sixth. Judge is coming on quickly after a slow start to the campaign -- he's in the midst of a five-game hitting streak during which he's gone 9-for-18 with two homers, four doubles, four walks, six RBI, six runs and a stolen base.... Yankees' Aaron Judge: Swats homer Sunday
Judge went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and a walk in Sunday's 5-2 victory versus Detroit. A day after he was ejected from a game for the first time in his career, Judge belted a solo shot off Tarik Skubal in his first at-bat of the contest. The slugger added a sixth-inning double to notch just his second game with multiple extra-base hits this season. Judge is still slashing a meager .220/.350/.439 on the campaign, but he's batting .355 with three of his seven homers and seven of his 20 RBI over his past nine games.... See More ... See Less -
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Ejected from Saturday's win
Judge went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI before being ejected for arguing balls and strikes in the seventh inning of Saturday's 5-3 win over the Tigers. Home plate umpire Ryan Blakney was generous with strike calls on pitches off the plate all day, and Judge's muttering as he walked back to the dugout after getting rung up for a second time got him tossed. Per Joe Trezza of MLB.com, it was the first ejection of Judge's career -- at any level of baseball. He still made an impact in the win, and while the 32-year-old slugger has had a slow start to the season, he's produced three multi-hit performances, two homers and six RBI in his last eight games.... Yankees' Aaron Judge: Getting first start in left field
Judge will start in left field and bat third in Monday's game in Baltimore. Judge received some reps in left field during spring training, but this is the first time he's made a start at the position in a regular season game since 2016 when he was with Triple-A Scranton-Wilkes-Barre. He could see additional action in left field during the series against the Orioles while Alex Verdugo is on paternity leave. Trent Grisham is getting a rare start in center field Monday.... Yankees' Aaron Judge: Goes deep again Sunday
Judge went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, three RBI and a walk in Sunday's 15-5 win over the Brewers. Judge launched a solo shot off Tobias Myers in the top of the first inning, later adding two more base knocks, including a two-RBI single in the fifth inning. The homer was his sixth of the season and he's now gone deep in back-to-back games and three times in the last five contests overall. After a slow start to the season, Judge is batting .211 with six home runs, 18 RBI, 12 runs scored and a stolen base over 109 at-bats in 29 games.... See More ... See Less -
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Slugs homer in rout
Judge went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional run scored and a walk in a 15-3 win against the Brewers on Saturday. Judge contributed to New York's demolition of Milwaukee on Saturday with a 417-foot, two-run blast to center field in the sixth inning. It was just the fifth homer of the year for the slugger, who is off to a slow start with a .190/.326/.390 slash line through 128 plate appearances. Judge's .200 ISO is easily on pace for his lowest mark over any full season of his big-league career.... See More ... See Less -
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Bat wakes up Wednesday
Judge went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the A's. Joe Boyle appeared to have struck Judge out in the second inning but was charged with a balk on the third strike instead, and the Yankees slugger made him pay by crushing his next pitch over the fence in right field. Judge had gone just 4-for-31 (.129) over the prior eight games without a long ball, so the reprieve may have been just what he needed to kick things into gear. On the season, he's slashing .191/.319/.383 with four homers and 13 RBI through 25 contests.... See More ... See Less -
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Goes deep in loss
Judge went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to Cleveland. Judge is still looking to find his groove in 2024, but he's collected an extra-base hit in each of his last three games. His three-run shot in the third inning off Guardians starter Logan Allen was his third homer of the year and first since April 6. Judge is slashing .207/.373/.448 with eight extra-base hits and a 16:15 BB:K through 16 games.... See More ... See Less -
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Swats second homer
Judge went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional run and two walks in Saturday's 9-8 win against Toronto. Judge set the tone early for New York, bashing a 425-foot, two-run homer off Blue Jays ace Kevin Gausman in the first inning. The long ball was the slugger's second of the season, both of which have come over his past three contests. Judge went 3-for-24 with just one RBI over his first six games of the campaign but appears to be heating up, going 4-for-9 with the two homers and five RBI over his subsequent three contests.... Yankees' Aaron Judge: Homers, drives in three
Judge went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 6-5 win over Arizona. Judge got the Yankees on the board with a two-run homer in the top of the fourth and later added an RBI double in extra innings to give New York a 6-4 lead. The long ball was Judge's first of the season, while the game also marked his first multi-hit performance of the 2024 campaign. The star center fielder had just three hits coming into the contest and will look to build off Wednesday's showing when the Yankees host the Blue Jays in their home opener.... See More ... See Less -
Yankees' Aaron Judge: Projected to play Wednesday
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Monday that Judge (abdomen) "should be good to go" for Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Pirates following Tuesday's team off day, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports. Boone had previously projected Judge to rejoin the spring lineup this past Saturday, only for the Yankees to push back the slugger's return. With that in mind, Judge's status will still warrant monitoring Wednesday to ensure he is in fact playing against Pittsburgh. Judge has been slowed by the abdominal issue for nearly a week, but on a positive note, he was able to take part in some hitting work after an MRI returned negative. He took on-field batting practice Friday and Saturday, then hit off a tee and pitching machine Sunday. Judge didn't resume taking BP on Monday as expected, though he was spotted taking part in outfield drills. Boone's comments would seem to suggest that Judge's absence from batting practice Monday was merely just a late change of plans rather than the result of the 31-year-old experiencing any sort of setback during his recent workouts....
