Brewers' Christian Kelley: Signs minors deal with Milwaukee
Kelley signed a minor-league deal with the Brewers on Saturday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.
The Brewers are in desperate need of depth behind the plate with both Omar Narvaez (hamstring) and Manny Pina (toe) on the injured list. It will probably take at least one more injury for Kelley to join the big-league roster, as he's a 27-year-old with no big-league experience who hit .179/.251/.282 at the Triple-A level in 2019.

Christian Kelley: Released by Pirates
Kelley was released by the Pirates on Friday, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Kelley spent time at the Pirates' alternate training site to begin the season, but he'll now be free to sign elsewhere via free agency. The 27-year-old played 80 games for Triple-A Indianapolis in 2019 and hit .179 with five home runs and 21 RBI.
