The Jets have a roster that's almost completely devoid of talent, but they fixed one important hole with their first-round pick by taking Jamal Adams, who fell to No. 6 after the Bears' big trade at the start of the draft. At LSU, Adams demonstrated his ability as a hard-hitter and as a playmaker in the passing game. He can do everything. He totaled 18 tackles for a loss in his three-year college career and five interceptions in the past two seasons. He's not a perfect prospect -- he left some picks on the field -- but he's a clear Week 1 impact player. His versatility is key.

Fantasy impact

"The Jets need help everywhere, and Jamal Adams fills a role right away, especially when you're trying to slow down Tom Brady and the Patriots. But no one is touching the Jets DST this year in any Fantasy league after they finished No. 31 last year in standard leagues." -- Jamey Eisenberg
