Tony Romo joined Twitter in April 2008, and in seven-plus years he's tweeted a grand total of 11 times. You can interpret his latest, published at 11:08 am ET on Tuesday, in a few different ways:

"Well, I guess there's only one thing left to do ... win the whole f------ thing."

Interpretation No. 1: The man loves Major League and it's just a coincidence that he tweeted that scene during the week he's set to return to the field.

Interpretation No. 2: Romo, who has missed the last seven games -- all losses, by the way -- while recovering from a fractured clavicle, has every intention of winning out because, frankly, that's about the only way the Cowboys will have a shot at the postseason.

Meanwhile, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he's optimistic Romo plays against the Dolphins on Sunday.

"He's razor sharp as to the practicing of what we're trying to put on the field with our game plan, so that's just not an issue," Jones told CBS Radio affiliate 105.3 The Fan. "He's in it and in it in a big way. He can spend the time really going over where we had opportunities, not second-guessing, but just breaking it down, for what we did against Tampa the other day, what we did or didn't do against Philadelphia.

"He's in it and he's sharp. He's also really moving the ball around good at practice, so all of those things make it feel optimistic to me."

The Cowboys are currently 2-7 and in last place in NFC East. The bad news: they're two games behind the Redskins and Eagles. The (relatively) good news: they're only 2.5 games behind the division-leading Giants.

But there's more bad news: Dallas is tied with Detroit for the worst record in the conference, and the remaining schedule isn't particularly kind: at Miami, Carolina, at Washington, at Green Bay, home against the New York Jets, at Buffalo and Washington.

Sounds like it's go time for Tony Romo and the Cowboys. (USATSI/Twitter)
