Harry Giles' much-anticipated Duke debut didn't amount to much. He only played four minutes and did not score a point or grab a rebound in Monday's 65-55 win over Tennessee State that pushed the Blue Devils' winning streak to nine.

But at least he played.

It was the first time the five-star freshman and projected NBA Draft lottery pick has appeared in a real game in more than a year -- and since having two knee surgeries. So the debut is to be celebrated, if only for that. Giles will be back on the court Wednesday when Duke plays Elon at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

"Just shaking the rust off and getting the kinks out," Giles told reporters afterward. "I think each day, each game, each practice, I'll get better."

Duke remains No. 5 in the CBS Sports Top 25 (and one).
