Kansas beat Oklahoma 73-63 Monday night to extend its winning streak to seven games and maintain a three-game lead in the Big 12 standings. Consequently, the Jayhawks are guaranteed to win the Big 12 by at least two games. That’s among the reasons why they’re ranked No. 1 in the CBS Sports Top 25 (and one.)
Meantime, Virginia beat North Carolina 53-43.
That result, I think, improved Virginia’s resume enough to move the Cavaliers ahead of Iowa State — which resulted in ISU dropping from 21st to 22nd, no fault of its own. And Miami’s loss at Virginia Tech caused the Hurricanes to drop out of the Top 25 (and one). They were replaced by Wisconsin.
