Barber hasn't played for Double-A Corpus Christi since Aug. 13 due to right hip flexor discomfort, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.
Corpus Christi has yet to place Barber on its 7-day injured list, so the team may be viewing him as day-to-day even though he's been out of commission for more than a week. The 22-year-old outfielder has produced a .247/.366/.428 slash line with nine home runs and five stolen bases across 292 plate appearances with Corpus Christi this season.
