Astros' Rogelio Armenteros: Part of player pool

Armenteros (elbow) is part of Houston's 60-man player pool.

Armenteros underwent surgery to remove a bone spur in March and was given a recovery time of four months, which puts his return about a week before the regular season is set to commence. Given the recent surgery, the Astros are probably not going to carry the right-hander on the active roster for Opening Day.
