Athletics' Ramon Laureano: Hits bench Wednesday

Laureano is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Mariners.

Manager Bob Melvin is resting some starters with the A's already safely into the playoffs -- Laureano will take a seat following 19 consecutive starts. The outfielder hit a solid .289/.353/.487 over that stretch. Mark Canha is starting center field in place of Laureano.
