Martin is batting .245/.341/.367 in 147 at-bats this season for Double-A Midland.
Martin has improved on each stop along the minors, including this season. If he were to keep his production constant, the .245 average and .367 slugging would both be his best over the span of an entire season, and he's on pace to record his lowest strikeout percentage at 18.7 percent. With that being said, the Athletics would probably still like to see more of an increase in offensive production before the season's end, but the improvement to this point is a good start for their 2015 first-round pick.
