Martin was reassigned to minor-league camp Wednesday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Martin was signed to a minor-league contract with an invitation to major-league spring training in January, but the shortstop has fallen short of his bid for a spot on the Opening Day roster. The former first-round pick will be a depth option with Triple-A Louisville assuming he stays in the organization.
