Navarro has appeared in six of the Jays' nine September games and is just 1-for-14 (.071) in that time.
Navarro has failed to capitalize on his chances to make an impact early in the final month of the season. With three catchers on the roster and Russell Martin the clear top option, Navarro is unlikely to see much more opportunity than he's already been afforded.
