Renfroe agreed to a one-year, $7.65 million contract with the Brewers on Tuesday to avoid arbitration, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Renfroe was acquired by Milwaukee from Boston in the closing hours before the lockout, and he's now officially under contract for this season. The 29-year-old has his final year of arbitration eligibility coming up in 2023. Renfroe slashed .259/.315/.501 with 31 home runs, 33 doubles, 89 runs and 96 RBI in 144 games last season, and he should be the Brewers' primary starter in right field.
