Lynn (11-7) got the win Tuesday against the Reds after allowing four runs (three earned) on six hits with no walks and three strikeouts over five innings.

This wasn't Lynn's sharpest outing, but St. Louis' offense bailed him out in a 13-4 win. The righty has been a dependable source of victories on a perennially decent Cardinals team, reaching double-digit wins in each of his five full major-league seasons. He had notched quality starts in 11 of his previous 12 outings coming in, so expect Lynn to bounce back in his next start Sunday against the Cubs.
