Giants' Josh Osich: Fires scoreless inning Tuesday

Osich struck out two batters over a scoreless inning in Tuesday's 4-0 loss to the Cubs.

Tuesday's clean frame brought Osich's ERA down to 4.00 through nine innings. The hard-throwing lefty has struck out a batter per inning, but walks continue to be an issue after he posted a sub-par 4.7 BB/9 last season. He will continue to be used in low-leverage situations until he displays more control on the mound.
