Nimmo (finger) is taking full swings and is closer to coming off the injured list than J.D. Davis (hand), Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
This is an encouraging report from manager Luis Rojas, as it pertains to Nimmo. He suffered a bone bruise on his left index finger May 1. It is unclear if he will require a rehab assignment before being activated.
