Nationals' Steven Fuentes: Starts up rehab assignment

Fuentes (shoulder) made the second appearance of his rehab assignment Tuesday with High-A Wilmington, working four innings while giving up three runs on five hits while striking out two.

Fuentes has been sidelined since late May with a strained right shoulder, but he appears to be closing in on a return from the Nationals' 60-day injured list. Once activated, Fuentes will likely be optioned to Triple-A Rochester and fill a spot in the rotation.
