Friedrich allowed one unearned run on two hits and three walks while striking out nine over six innings, but received no decision Sunday at the Rockies.
Friedrich held the Rockies scoreless until giving up his unearned run in the sixth inning, but the Padres provided him with very little run support, wasting is outstanding effort in Coors Field. He's now held opponents to two or fewer runs in five of his six starts, and he lowered his ERA to 2.12. He'll make his next start Friday against the Nationals.
