Hosmer (finger) is likely to return off the injured list this weekend or shortly thereafter, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.
Hosmer went on the 10-day injured list due to a fractured left finger Sept. 8 and has now reached his eligible return date. The 30-year-old has progressed to live batting practice and is no longer wearing a splint, so he appears imminently ready to rejoin the active roster.
