Baez (elbow) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list and optioned to Double-A San Antonio on Monday.
Baez's rehab assignment shifted to San Antonio in mid-May, and he posted a 4.05 ERA and 1.29 WHIP in 6.2 innings over five relief appearances. Although the right-hander is now considered healthy, he'll remain with the Double-A club.
